Traditional Tattoo Aftercare

Tattoo might ooze plasma/blood.

Wash Tattoo with antibacterial un-scented soap (dial original hand soap) 2 to 3 times a day for the first week. Pat dry with a paper towel, do not rub dry. You will not need to re-wrap after washing.

Apply aftercare when dry 3 to 4 times a day. Light coats, rub in like a lotion, tattoo must breathe. Do that for 2 weeks

No submerging in water. For example, Rivers, baths, hot tubs, etc. for two weeks. Showers are fine.

Will act like a sun burn, it might start to peel. Don’t pick at it, if it itches you can slap it lightly

Will be fully healed within 2-4 weeks.
Tattoo Derm Aftercare
· Derm is a medical adhesive that heals without oxygen providing a fast, sanitary, and more effective heal
· Derm should be worn for 3-7 days. The longer it stays on, the better results you will have.

Derm will not fully protect your tattoo from possible infections if submerged underwater. NO BATHTUBS, HOTTUBS, OR SWIMMING

Fluids (a mix of plasma, blood, excess ink, and sweat) may collect under the derm. This is normal. If the amount of fluid is uncomfortable or leaking, please stop in to have it drained and a new derm applied.

This fluid is not harming the tattoo or hindering the healing process. The ink is not coming out of your tattoo.

TO REMOVE THE DERM: Removing the derm works best for most people in the shower. Place the tattoo under running water and slowly pull the derm up/down and away from your skin, allowing the running water to help ease it off. It will be mildly uncomfortable, but do not worry, you will not harm the tattoo in any way doing this.

Once the derm has been removed, clean the tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day for the next 2- 5 days, and moisturize with an unscented lotion or tattoo aftercare product.
Body Piercing Aftercare
Tooth Gem Aftercare
DO NOT eat or drink for two hours following the procedure. (Water is fine!)
The gem will take approximately 24 hours for the adhesive to reach maximum strength. During this time:
Eat softer foods
Do not touch or play with the gems. Do not pick at them or play with them using your tongue
Do not brush your teeth for the first 12 hours. Do not use an electric tooth brush for 48 hours.
Once the gem is completely set, it is important to perform regular dental hygiene - including brushing and flossing - including around the gem, to prevent plaque buildup.
