The State of Nebraska requires a person to be 18 years or older to get a piercing without written consent from a PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN. For minors it is up to the discretion of the artist whether or not they feel comfortable piercing the minor. The PARENT/GUARDIAN must be present for the procedure.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I AM UNDER 18, CAN AN OLDER SIBLING OR OTHER FAMILY MEMBER SIGN FOR ME?
No. By law it MUST be your parent or legal guardian. If your legal guardian is an older sibling or other relative, be prepared to bring the corresponding legal paperwork to prove guardianship. Work done on minors is always at the discretion of the artist, regardless of consent.
WHAT IS REQUIRED WHEN GETTING A TATTOO/PIERCING?
We need a state issued, photo identification for EVERYONE to get pierced. EVEN MINORS. For minors, a birth certificate AND photo ID is required by state law - The parent must have a state issued ID or Passport.
SHOULD I EAT BEFORE GETTING A PIERCING?
Yes, you should always eat before getting any work done. Your body deals with the stresses of a piercing much better when you've eaten. Make sure you have eaten a decent sized meal within a couple of hours of getting a piercing done.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN JEWELRY?
No. The state requires very specific grades of metal to be used for body piercing, and the jewelry must be autoclaved. Because of this we MUST use our jewelry.
CAN I EXCHANGE JEWELRY IF IT IS THE WRONG STYLE OR SIZE?
No. All Jewelry sales are final. If you are unsure about size, length, gauge, or other factors, please schedule a jewelry change service with one of our piercers.
DO YOU USE A PIERCING GUN FOR PIERCINGS?
No. Piercing guns should NEVER be used for ANY piercing. Here's Why
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN WITH ME?
Although our facilities are clean and friendly, they are not childproofed, and it is classified as an ADULT ENVIRONMENT. Children are not prohibited, but we STRONGLY REQUEST that you make arrangements for your children. If you bring your small children with you, they must be watched over by an additional adult, outside of the piercing area. We STRONGLY suggest you simply leave them at home instead.
DO YOU PERFORM NIPPLE AND/OR GENITAL PIERCINGS
Yes, We perform nipple piercings and most genital piercings. It is advised to stop in and talk with a piercer about genital piercing options. Many genital piercings are very dependent on your personal anatomy. NO GENITAL OR NIPPLE PIERCINGS WILL BE DONE ON MINORS REGARDLESS OF PARENTAL CONSENT. PERIOD.
CAN MY FRIENDS/FAMILY VIDEO RECORD or TAKE PICTURES DURING THE PIERCING PROCEDURE
Yes - If your piercer allows it. If they do, it must be from a distance and out of the way of the piercing artist. If you are too close, or in the way, the Piercer reserves the right to ask you to move, or stop recording. Also, no video or pictures may be taken during genital or nipple piercing procedures. The person getting the piercing may not do the recording. We need you present and paying attention/following directions fully during the procedure.
DO YOU PERFORM "SNAKE EYES" PIERCINGS?
No. Due to the high risk of permanent damage to the tongue and the teeth, this piercing should not be performed, and you should not get this piercing from anyone who says otherwise. The risk is too great.
DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?
We accept walk-ins for simple JEWELRY CHANGES ONLY - for multiple jewelry changes we will require an appointment. Appointments always take precedence, so there may be a wait for jewelry changes.
